Ethos
There are no shortcuts to playing the guitar well. If there were then everybody would be doing it. Some people are naturally talented but for most of us success begins with hard work.
My ethos towards teaching is to make lessons as enjoyable as possible. I inspire my students by showing them what they are capable of achieving. Every student that walks through my door has the potential to be a really good player. It is important to remember that everyone is more or less the same and that we are all capable of great things when we put our mind to it. However there comes a point when it is not enough to work hard and it is just as important to have a structured approach to learning. Which makes another important point about my lessons, structuring is key and thats what I emphasise in my teaching.
